1. My concern will be how to convince your non-qualified, conservative, rigid but senior (bosses) on many things that need reform or change? In Pakistan, there is a paucity of informed and qualified leaders in almost all the business and public sector arenas. We as junior managers find it very difficult to convince our pessimistic and non-professional bosses and have to take lot of heartburn in dealing with the organizational development, which is much needed in our scenario.
Shahzad
2. How and when to adjust work style and leadership within a team to solve problems more effectively, increase creativity, and save time?
How to go about setting the right goals, fostering the optimal level of collaboration and selecting the appropriate people to participate in projects?
Mariyam
3. Well, we’re just starting out on our first “major donor” campaign – so I don’t’ have anyone in particular in mind, but someone we might be approaching for their first significant gift to us? Again, all pretty new to us — so the other question might be: is this the time to even start asking for significant contributions?
Anne

What is the most important step(s) to take as we stumble or slide into this next difficult period?
Brian
5. How does the leader effectively build relationships going into a new role with a new company when so many organizations are focused on “getting results now” mentality?
Mary
6. The only burning question I have is, what are other people doing? I’m trying to figure out how to be a good team leader in the first place. Now, with the economic downturn I don’t have the option of increasing my team size to help shuffle some serious projects around.
Aaron
7. In tough times, more often than not, the successful and healthy companies often are able to weather the storm and in the end become stronger. If your company is considered to be healthy and a market leader, how do you suggest marketing yourself knowing that “act now” advertising is going to be less successful than in ‘normal’ times?
Greg
8. How to minimize the RIF paranoia that seems to build as the economy continues to worsen?
Daniel (RIF is Reduction in Force)
9. “It’s hard to believe I’ve come to clean out the swamp when I’m up to my rear in alligators.” That is me! It will lighten up!
Carolyn
(When Ginny got this message, she said, “Perhaps that’s why those gators have such tough skins…so we can walk on top of them and get a different perspective!”)

Ben
11. What have you found effective in helping others overcome fear of the unknown?
What works in overcoming the paralysis of analysis?
How do you help others (and yourself) stay focused on the high-payoff actions and avoid wasting time?
Tom
12. What do you feel are the most important principles in ensuring that a team operates effectively?
What are the most effective tools to help achieve team success?
Why should an organization embrace team philosophy over top-down methodology?
Rosie
